Our adventure will begin with a fascinating drive along the east coast of Lipari, including the stunning beauty of Grotta degli Angeli, the majestic Faraglioni of Lipari and Praia Vinci. We continue our exploration by skirting Vulcanello before arriving at the extraordinary island of Vulcano, where we will make our first stop for a refreshing swim in the beautiful Cala Piccola.
Continuing our journey, we will encounter the evocative Coves of Cala Grande and Cala Formaggio, until we arrive at the obligatory stop for those visiting the Aeolian Islands: the famous Piscina di Venere and the Grotta del Cavallo.
As you can easily guess from the name, the Piscina di Venere is a natural pool set among tufa and basalt rocks, whose crystal-clear waters vary from blue to green, creating an unparalleled spectacle. While the Grotta of the Horse takes its name from the silhouette of a horse's head set above the cave's entrance.
Our journey continues with a view of the majestic Lion's Head, a giant rock formation that precisely resembles the silhouette of a lion after which we can take a second refreshing break.
Back on board, the excursion continues with a visit to the famous Abbot's Cave, which will be followed by another bathroom stop. Continuing along the coast, we will admire the beauty of Donkey Beach and Gelso Beach, two enchanting beaches with black sand, where we will take our last break before concluding our memorable tour among the Aeolian Islands.
We will see the enchanting sites of Cannitello, Punta Bandiera and the famous Sirenetta rock, before tackling the exciting next leg. At 12:30 p.m., you can take a wonderful break on the charming island of Vulcano, where you will have the opportunity to visit the quaint village, soak in the thermal mud pool or tan on the black sandy expanses. If you are an adventure lover, you cannot miss the experience of climbing the majestic volcano summit.
Return to Lipari in the afternoon, leaving you plenty of time to enjoy this exciting adventure to the fullest!
