Lipari and Salina

Departure and return from the port of Marina Corta on Lipari

We will set off along the coast of the majestic Monte Rosa, until we reach the magical White Beaches, where you can dive into the crystal-clear waters, whose pumice bed provides a spectacular landscape. After a short sail of about 20 minutes, we will reach Capo Faro, where you can refresh yourself again, and then continue along the coast of Malfa, famous for its tasty capers and fine malvasia wine. Next stop will be Pollara, a small hamlet of Salina that became famous for being the location for the unforgettable film 'Il Postino' by Massimo Troisi. Here we will visit the enchanting Arco del Perciato, a striking volcanic rock arch, and the Pollara Beach, a semi-circular crater formed after an explosive eruption producing large pumice deposits 13 thousand years ago, where we will stop for a refreshing swim.

At lunchtime we will reach Lingua, where a tasty choice of fish dishes, cunsato bread and granite with brioche awaits us. Along the promenade, you can admire the beautiful Salt Lake, the site of ancient salt mining, and then dive in for another refreshing swim.

We will depart at 3pm towards the western side of Lipari, where we will visit some of its most striking natural attractions, such as the Scoglio della Palmara, the Grotta dei Pipistrelli and the romantic Grotta degli Innamorati. We will not miss a swim stop in one of the island's most beautiful coves, the majestic Cala Fico, so called because of the number of fig trees in its natural environment.

Continuing along the coast, we will arrive at the enchanting Valle Muria beach, pass under the mountain and finally admire the splendid Grotta degli Angeli and then pass by the Faraglioni of Lipari: Pietra Lunga and Pietra Menalda, two volcanic necks.

To end on a high note, we will enjoy the last swim of the day in the enchanting Praia Vinci.

We return in the evening.
